Free Photoshop?

Is there a free type of Photoshop (and it doesn't have to be specifically Photoshop, just something similar, like Paint). BUT I don't want Paint because that is probably the worst (though it's free). Anything free out there besides Paint?

I recommend GIMP, it has many features of Photoshop and costs nothing.

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

Other free alternatives would be Paint.net or Picasa from Google.

There are free downloads of photoshop (and all other softwares too) on the bittorrent system.

Get a bittorrent client and install it. Go to http://www.zeropaid.com for good information on various bittorrent clients and links to where you can download them.

Then go to http://thepiratebay.org and search there for what you want. There are other search sites too, but this one has reliable files without viruses.
